Roasted Nori Seaweed Chips

Ingredients

  • 4 sheets nori seaweed
  • 1 tablespoon tamari sauce gluten-free; otherwise, use coconut aminos
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil or olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350. Lay two sheets of the nori per baking tray.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the tamari sauce and sesame oil. Brush mixture over each sheet of nori.
  3. Then, sprinkle each sheet with the cayenne pepper and sesame seeds.
  4. Place both baking trays in the oven for 4 minutes, taking care not to let the nori burn.
  5. Remove the nori from the baking sheets and allow to cool and become crispy, about 5 minutes.
  6. Gently break the sheets into chip-sized pieces.
