Ingredients

  • 2 pounds brussels sprouts ends cut off and sliced down the middle
  • 2 tablespoons tahini (tahini is sesame seed butter)
  • 2 tablespoons coconut aminos or gluten-free tamari (tamari is gluten-free soy sauce)
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice or apple cider vinegar
  • 1 garlic clove minced or grated
  • 1/2 inch knob of ginger minced or grated

Garnishes

  • cilantro leaves
  • sliced jalapeno
  • lime wedges
  • toasted sesame oil

Instructions

  1. For the Air Fryer, preheat to 360 (for the standard oven option, preheat to 400 degrees).
  2. Combine all ingredients except the brussels sprouts in a large bowl and whisk to combine.
  3. Stir the cut brussels sprouts into the dressing and mix until each sprout is evenly coated.
  4. Spread the brussels sprouts evenly into the Air Fryer basket (or a metal baking tray for the standard oven) and air fry for 12 minutes, taking the basket out halfway through to toss and flip the sprouts. (for the conventional oven, bake for 22-25 minutes, also taking the tray out to shake the sprouts around halfway through).
  5. Once finished, plate the fried brussels sprouts in a bowl to serve, and garnish with cilantro leaves, sliced jalapenos, extra lime juice and toasted sesame oil.
